What’s the Problem?
According to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), this recall affects:
- 2021 Kawasaki BRUTE FORCE 750 4X4i EPS — Model Code KVF750GMFNN — VIN Range 19547 thru 1906082021
- 2021 Kawasaki BRUTE FORCE 750 4X4i EPS (camo) — Model Code KVF750HMFNN — VIN Range 08771 thru 08775
- 2021 Kawasaki BRUTE FORCE 750 4X4i EPS (camo gray) — Model Code KVF750JMFNN — VIN Range 11478 thru 11484
The VIN is located on the steel frame between the right-front lower A-arm mounts. The model name and model code are printed on both sides of the airbox cover in front of the operator’s seat.
Affected ATVs were sold at Kawasaki dealers nationwide in March 2021 for between about $10,000 and $10,600.
If you purchased an ATV that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact a Kawasaki dealer to schedule a free repair to replace the fuel pump retainer plate bolts.
This recall began on April 22, 2021.
