What’s the Problem?
This recall affects Hog 100-pound Flame King Propane Cylinders, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).
“The propane cylinders manufactured with a handle below the weld on the side could leak propane gas, posing a fire hazard,” CPSC said.
The cylinders are white and have built-in wheels, and can be identified by serial numbers 000001 through 002800. UPC 850015730016 and SKU YSN100HOG are printed on the box.
The recalled propane tanks were sold online from January 2020 through October 2020 for about $250.
If you purchased a propane cylinder that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it and contact Flame King for a full refund or free replacement.
This recall began on March 24, 2021.
