Two women from Bend, Oregon, are the latest to file charges against Massage Envy, claiming the company’s masseurs sexually harassed them at the spa in Cascade Village Shopping Center.

What’s the problem?
November 30, 2017 – According to allegations raised in the Oregon Massage Envy Lawsuits, the 2 women were touched inappropriately by masseur Christopher Rosario during a massage in October 2015. They later filed a multimillion-dollar class action suit against Rosario and the owners of the Massage Envy franchise in the Cascade Village Shopping Center in Bend, Oregon.
At least one other woman has come forward with charges against Rosario since the first claim was filed, according to News 21 KTVZ. The former masseur was initially scheduled for trial in January, but that was pushed back 1 year in light of the new charges.
Nationwide, nearly 200 women have filed lawsuits citing similar allegations of assault, with many also complaining that Massage Envy mishandled or ignored their complaints.
A Buzzfeed News Investigation reported on Tuesday that Massage Envy, which boasts over 1.6 million members and 1,170 locations across the U.S., is facing allegations by at least 180 women claiming they were sexually assaulted at the company’s spas.
Massage Envy has yet to officially comment on the charges, other than to say it is “heartbroken” over every incident, and that one is too many.
