The recalled blueberries were distributed in Illinois, Maine, New York and Wisconsin. Product lot codes are located on the top label of the clamshell and are a series of numbers printed by inkjet in black. Dependent upon where the numbers are printed, they may go across the wording on the label.
Cyclosporiasis is an intestinal infection caused by the Cyclospora parasite that causes symptoms including severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, body aches and fatigue.
Consumers who purchased any recalled Dole blueberries should either discard them or return them for a refund.
If you are concerned about a food poisoning illness from recalled blueberries, you should dial 9-1-1 immediately.
