On July 23, 2026, Foshanshi Kaijinying Dianzishangmao Youxiangongsi dba YouRfocus of China announced a voluntary recall of CuddleCubs Creations Baby Highchair Teething Toy Sets in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. The toys were manufactured in China and imported by YouRfocus. No injuries have been reported to date.

What Products Are Affected?

The recall covers the CuddleCubs Creations Baby Highchair Teething Toy Set in two color combinations:

  • BlueOrange
  • YellowOrange

Each set includes a suction-cup attachment and a chick-shaped teether, along with the recalled pull-string teething toy — an orange bug-shaped center ball with six long silicone pull strings of various colors running through the ball, plus one light-green center string. The recalled sets were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from December 2024 through April 2026 for between $15 and $19.

What Is the Hazard?

The pull-string teething toy included in the recalled sets violates the mandatory federal toy safety standard because its silicone strings are smaller in diameter and longer than the standard permits. When a young infant places the toy in their mouth — the exact use for which the product is designed — the strings can reach the back of the child’s throat and become lodged, posing a serious risk of respiratory distress and a potentially deadly choking hazard.

Incidents and Injuries

No injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled CuddleCubs Creations Teething Toy Sets to date. The recall was initiated based on the product’s non-compliance with the mandatory toy safety standard rather than a reported incident.

What Should Parents Do?

Parents and caregivers who own the recalled CuddleCubs Creations Baby Highchair Teething Toy Set should stop using the pull-string teething toy immediately and keep it away from children. To receive a full refund, consumers must destroy the toy by cutting all of the silicone strings and writing “DESTROYED” in permanent marker on the main body of the toy, then send a photograph of the destroyed toy to cuddlecubscreation@126.com.

After submitting the photo, the product should be disposed of. Consumers may contact YouRfocus directly by email at cuddlecubscreation@126.com for refund instructions and assistance.

Can I File a Lawsuit?

Parents whose infants were endangered or injured by the recalled CuddleCubs Creations pull-string teething toy may have significant legal options against YouRfocus and the platform that sold the product. Contact an attorney promptly to have your case evaluated.
