Overview

On May 1, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of approximately 1.8 million SharkNinja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers due to a burn hazard [1]. The pressure-cooking lid can open during use, allowing hot contents to escape and potentially causing severe burns.

This recall affects units sold nationwide from January 2019 through March 2025 at retailers like Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Amazon, and Target for about $200 each, with an additional 184,240 units sold in Canada. Affected models include OP300, OP301, OP301A, OP302, OP302BRN, OP302HCN, OP302HAQ, OP302HW, OP302HB, OP305, OP305CO, and OP350CO, all with a 6.5-quart capacity and “Ninja” branding.

Replacement lids for these models are also included in the recall. SharkNinja Operating LLC, based in Needham, Massachusetts, imported these products from China.
