What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Feb. 24, 2021, and affects Northern Tool & Equipment Powerhorse 13000ES Portable Generator Model #799215.
Northern Tool & Equipment Company Inc. initiated the recall after receiving at least 1 report of an incorrect wiring connection in a Powerhouse generator.
The recalled generators are blue with white “Powerhorse” logos, a black frame and 2 wheels. “Powerhorse 13000ES” is printed in white on the top front.
Affected generators were sold online and at Northern Tool & Equipment stores nationwide from July 2016 through September 2020 for about $1,850.
Consumers who purchased a recalled generator should stop using it immediately and contact Northern Tool & Equipment for a free repair.
