What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Jan. 6, 2021, and affects model number EM003 of the Massimo Percussion Massage Gun.
The massage guns have 20 speed levels and came with 6 massage heads and a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery. They were sold in black, silver, gold and blue.
“The lithium-ion battery system can overheat, posing a fire hazard,” CPSC said.
Affected massage guns were sold online at Costco.com from April 2020 through May 2020 for about $60.
Consumers who purchased a recalled massage gun should stop using it immediately and contact Massimo for a refund.
