On June 11, 2026, Kidisle of China announced a voluntary recall of its KC101B coffeemakers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The coffeemakers were manufactured by ChangShaShiMengQiSiDianZiShangMaoYouXianGongSi of China and imported by Kidisle.

What Product Is Affected?

The recall covers Kidisle-branded single-serve hot and iced coffee machines in black, white, and gray. The coffeemaker measures approximately 11 inches high by 6 inches wide, has a 50-ounce detachable water tank, and can brew between 6 and 14 ounces of cupped or ground coffee.

Model “KC101B” is printed on a sticker located on the underside of the coffeemaker, and the Kidisle brand name appears on the original product order receipt. The recalled coffeemakers were sold online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and eBay.com from June 2024 through April 2026 for approximately $49.

What Is the Hazard?

The recalled coffeemakers can become clogged during normal use, causing hot liquid or steam to build up inside the machine. When that pressure is eventually released, it can be expelled unexpectedly and with significant force, posing a serious burn hazard to anyone standing nearby.

Incidents and Injuries

The CPSC is aware of at least 107 reports of the recalled coffeemakers releasing hot liquid or steam unexpectedly. Those incidents have resulted in at least 27 reported injuries, including first- and second-degree burns that required medical treatment.

What Caused the Recall?

The recall was initiated after it was determined that the internal brewing mechanism in the KC101B coffeemaker is prone to clogging during ordinary use. Once clogged, pressure from the buildup of hot liquid or steam has nowhere to safely escape, and can be released suddenly toward the user instead.

What Should Consumers Do?

Consumers who own the recalled Kidisle KC101B coffeemaker should stop using it immediately and contact Kidisle for a full refund. As part of the refund process, consumers will be asked to destroy the coffeemaker by unplugging it and cutting the power cord.

After cutting the cord, consumers should write “Recalled” in permanent marker on the unit and send a photo showing the visible model number and cut power cord to KidisleKC101Brecall@outlook.com.

Can I File a Lawsuit?

Consumers who purchased the recalled Kidisle KC101B coffeemaker — particularly those who suffered first- or second-degree burns when the machine unexpectedly released hot liquid or steam — may have significant legal options. A class action lawsuit could allow affected consumers to seek compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, and other related losses.
