What’s the Problem?
This FSIS Recall was issued on Jan. 16, 2021, and affects:
- 54-oz. carton packages containing 12 “Nestle HOT POCKETS BRAND SANDWICHES: PREMIUM PEPPERONI MADE WITH PORK, CHICKEN & BEEF PIZZA GARLIC BUTTER CRUST” with a “BEST BEFORE FEB 2022” date and lot codes 0318544624. 0319544614, 0320544614, and 0321544614.
The recalled Hot Pockets “may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of glass and hard plastic,” FSIS said. Affected items were produced from November 13-16, 2020. The product has a shelf life of 14 months.
Consumers who purchased any recalled Hot Pockets should either discard them or return them for a refund.
Anyone concerned about a potential adverse reaction to eating recalled Hot Pockets should call a doctor right away.
