What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Dec. 23, 2020, and affects 50, 80, 100, 125, 200, 250 and 300-count bottles of:
- Excedrin Migraine Caplets
- Excedrin Migraine Geltabs
- Excedrin Extra Strength Caplets
- Excedrin PM Headache Caplets
- Excedrin Tension Headache Caplets
“These products contain the substances aspirin and acetaminophen which must be in child resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA),” CPSC said.
The recalled Excedrin was sold at pharmacies, department stores, grocery stores, and hypermarkets nationwide and online from March 2018 through September 2020 for between $7 and $18.
Consumers who purchased any recalled Excedrin should keep it out of reach of children and inspect the bottom of the bottle to determine if there is a hole. If there is a hole, you should contact GSK Consumer Relations for a refund.
