What’s the Problem?
Consumers who purchased a Beretta .22 caliber NEOS semiautomatic pistol that is affected by this recall should contact the manufacturer for a free repair.
Beretta will retrofit the recalled guns with a replacement firing pin assembly, free of charge. The new firing pin assembly can be identified either by a circle on the back of the firing pin that includes a red dot in the center, or by a vertical line.
Note: Not all Beretta .22 caliber NEOS are subject to this recall. If the firing pin on your firearm is described as above, you do not need to return it for retrofit and it is not part of the recall.
