What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Jan. 31, 2021, and affects Aston Martin DBX vehicles from model year 2021.
The vehicles were built without headliner foam blocks, which causes them to fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 201, “Occupant Protection in Interior Impact.”
“The missing foam blocks can increase the risk of injury to unbelted occupants in the event of a crash,” NHTSA said.
If you purchased a DBX vehicle that is affected by this recall, you should contact your local Aston Martin dealer for a free headliner foam block installation.
Aston Martin’s number for this recall is RA-30-1471.
