On June 18, 2026, 7111495 Canada Inc., dba Arizer Tech of Waterloo, Ontario, announced a voluntary recall of certain Arizer Solo III portable electronic vaporizers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. Approximately 5,000 units are affected. The recalled vaporizers were manufactured in China and imported by 7111495 Canada Inc.

What Product Is Affected?

The recall covers the Arizer Solo III portable electronic vaporizer in the Intergalactic (Black) color only. The device features a rigid anodized aluminum housing, a front-facing digital display, a stainless steel heating chamber, and removable glass components, with a UPC of 628078802274 printed on the packaging.

Only units with serial numbers beginning with one of the following eight prefixes are included in the recall: M3B1G5, M3F4G6, M35C43, M3PN54, M3SR42, M38G53, M3G576, and M3C121. The serial number is etched on the bottom of the device and also printed on the outside of the product packaging.

The recalled vaporizers were sold at specialty, health and wellness, and adult novelty stores nationwide, and online at Arizer.com from May 2025 through January 2026 for approximately $300.

What Is the Hazard?

The internal lithium-ion battery in the recalled Arizer Solo III can explode or ignite during use, posing serious fire and burn hazards. A battery explosion or fire inside a handheld device held close to the face and body during use can cause immediate and severe burns to the hands, face, and surrounding areas with virtually no warning.

Incidents and Injuries

Arizer Tech has received four reports of the battery exploding or igniting in the recalled Solo III vaporizers. No injuries have been reported to date, but battery explosions in handheld devices have historically caused severe burns, eye injuries, and permanent scarring in other product categories involving similar defects.

What Should Consumers Do?

Consumers who own the recalled Arizer Solo III should stop using it immediately and register for the recall at www.arizer.com/solo-iii-voluntary-recall-submission-form. Consumers whose serial numbers are confirmed as affected will receive instructions to dispose of the device and will be asked to write “recalled” on it in permanent marker and submit a photograph before receiving a free replacement Solo III V2 unit.

The recalled device contains a lithium-ion battery that must not be placed in regular trash, curbside recycling bins, or standard battery drop-off boxes at retail stores. Consumers should contact their municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center ahead of time to confirm it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries before bringing in the device for disposal. Consumers may also reach Arizer Tech toll-free at 888-291-0521, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, or by email at recall@arizer.com.

Can I File a Lawsuit?

Consumers who purchased the recalled Arizer Solo III vaporizer — particularly those who were injured when the battery exploded or ignited — may have significant legal options. A class action lawsuit could allow affected consumers to seek compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, permanent scarring or disfigurement, lost wages, and other related losses.
