What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Feb. 9, 2021, and affects:
- 2019 Airstream International
- 2019 Airstream Flying Cloud
- 2019 Airstream Classic
These RVs are equipped with Dometic 3 burner cooking stoves whose saddle valve securing bolts may have been overtightened, which could damage the O-ring seal and cause a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire.
If you purchased an RV that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact your local Airstream dealer to schedule a free inspection and, if necessary, remedy kit.
Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 877-596-6111 ext. 7491.
