The tread or bead on affected Yokohama tires may detach, potentially causing a sudden loss of vehicle control, according to the NHTSA. A loss of vehicle control could result in a crash and severe personal injuries.
Yokohama Tire Corporation is notifying all registered owners and dealers will replace the tires for free. This recall began on April 7, 2020.
