What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Feb. 11, 2021, and affects:
- 2021 Wolverine RMAX4 1000 XT-R – Model Number YXF10WPZM
- 2021 Wolverine RMAX4 1000 LE – Model Number YXF10WPLM
- 2021 Wolverine RMAX4 1000 – Model Number YXF10WPAM
“The vehicles’ rear shock absorber mounts can break, posing crash and injury hazards,” CPSC said. “Yamaha has received one report of the rear shock absorber breaking loose.”
The recalled ROVs were sold at Yamaha dealers nationwide from October 2020 through December 2020 for between $21,300 and $25,300.
Consumers who purchased a recalled Wolverine ROV should stop using it immediately and contact their Yamaha dealer to schedule a free repair.
