Latest Updates

On September 3, 2026, Truststone Group LLC of New York announced a voluntary recall of the XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Banks in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. Approximately 32,400 units are affected. The power banks were manufactured in Vietnam and imported by Truststone Group LLC.

What Products Are Affected?

The recall covers XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Banks with model number PYPBK5M, sold in three designs. The specific model number is printed on the bottom of the original packaging directly above the barcode:

  • XO Poppy Power Bank — Cream (Model PY-PBK5M-CR2)
  • XO Poppy Power Bank — Cream with Pink Bow Print (Model PY-PBK5M-BW8)
  • XO Poppy Power Bank — Black with Teddy Bear Print (Model PY-PBK5M-TB2)

The recalled power banks were sold exclusively at TJX and Marshalls stores nationwide from April 2025 through March 2026 for approximately $15.

What Is the Hazard?

The lithium-ion battery inside the recalled XO Poppy power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards. Because these compact power banks are designed to be carried in purses, pockets, and bags — often in close proximity to the body — a battery fire can cause severe and immediate burns before the user has any opportunity to react.

Incidents and Injuries

No injuries or incidents have been reported in connection with the recalled XO Poppy Power Banks as of the September 3, 2026 recall date.

What Should Consumers Do?

Consumers who own a recalled XO Poppy Power Bank should stop using it immediately and contact Truststone Group for a full refund in the form of a virtual Mastercard gift card usable at any establishment that accepts Mastercard.

The recalled device contains a lithium-ion battery that must not be placed in regular trash, curbside recycling bins, or standard retail battery drop-off boxes. Consumers should contact their local municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center ahead of time to confirm it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries before bringing in the device. Consumers may contact Truststone Group toll-free at 833-820-0888, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, by email at xopowerbank@realtimeresults.net, or online at www.recallrtr.com/xopowerbank and click on “Important Recall Information.”

Can I File a Lawsuit?

Consumers who suffered burns or property damage from a recalled XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Bank may have significant legal options against Truststone Group and the retailers that sold the product. Contact an attorney promptly to have your case evaluated.
