On August 20, 2026, Guangzhou Ao Lian Ya Wang Luo Ke Ji You Xian Gong Si dba Workbless of China announced a voluntary recall of its electric pressure washers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. Approximately 2,200 units are affected in the United States, along with approximately 657 units in Canada. The pressure washers were manufactured in China.
What Products Are Affected?
The recall covers two Workbless electric pressure washer models, both green and black, sold with four quick-connect nozzles and a foam cannon:
- Workbless Electric Pressure Washer, Model WB0301 — approximately 27.24″H x 10.83″W x 8.39″D; “WORKBLESS,” “WB0301,” and “ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” printed on label on back
- Workbless Heavy Duty Electric Pressure Washer, Model WB0302 — approximately 29.57″H x 14.69″W x 10.94″D; “WORKBLESS,” “WB0302,” and “HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” printed on label on back
The recalled pressure washers were sold at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Overstock, Target, and Walmart from April 2025 through July 2026 for between $97 and $140.
What Is the Hazard?
The recalled pressure washers lack an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) and an adequate-length power cord, posing a serious risk of injury or death from electric shock and electrocution. A GFCI is a critical safety device that cuts power within milliseconds when it detects an electrical fault — its absence means that if the pressure washer develops a ground fault during use near water, the user may receive a potentially lethal electric shock with no protection.
The inadequate cord length compounds the hazard by encouraging users to connect the washer to an extension cord, which may lack GFCI protection entirely and increases the risk of electrical faults in wet outdoor environments.
Incidents and Injuries
No injuries have been reported in connection with the recalled pressure washers as of the August 20, 2026 recall date.
What Should Consumers Do?
Consumers who own a recalled Workbless pressure washer should stop using it immediately and contact Workbless for a full refund. As part of the refund process, consumers must cut the unplugged power cord in half and send a photograph of the destroyed pressure washer to service@workbless.net, then dispose of the destroyed product.
