This CPSC Recall began on September 9, 2020, and affects WHILL Personal Electric Vehicles, Model Ci, serial numbers ranging from C_1711188_US to C_1909011_US. The words “WHILL” and “Model Ci” are printed on the battery compartment.
The recalled wheelchairs were sold online from November 2017 through September 2019 for about $4,500.
Consumers who purchased a recalled personal electric vehicle should stop using it immediately and contact WHILL for a free replacement control pad.
