What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began in October 2020, and affects Leather On Wheels WCL Helmets, model Polo, part number 666, in all sizes produced 9/1/14 through 3/16/20.
“The helmet may not adequately reduce the amount of force the wearer experiences during an impact,” NHTSA said. “As such, these helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 218, “Motorcycle Helmets.”
If you purchased a motorcycle helmet that is affected by this recall, you should contact Leather On Wheels customer service at 1-587-583-0070 for a credit or free replacement helmet.
