What’s the Problem?

According to a CPSC Recall Notice issued on 3/14/20, this action affects about 1,430 Thule Sleek Car Seat Adapters used to place a Chicco car seat on the Thule Sleek Stroller.

CPSC said plastic brackets on the car seat adapter may be defective and can break, posing a fall hazard to babies inside. The recalled adapters were sold at major retailers across the U.S. and online for about $60 from Dec. 2018 to Feb. 2020.

Affected Thule Sleek Car Seat Adapters are metal with 2 black plastic brackets and clips. Product number 11000301 is printed on a sticker located on the adapter’s plastic bracket, and their UPC code is 091021188099.

Consumers who purchased a recalled car seat adapter should stop using it immediately and contact Thule for information about a refund or a free replacement product. CPSC’s recall number for this item is 20-096.
