What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on May 26, 2021, and affects Room Essentials Shower Stools, item number 064-20-1091, which were sold online and at Target stores nationwide from March 2019 through September 2020 for about $35.
“Target has received 12 reports of consumers falling off the recalled shower stools, including four reports of bruises, bumps and scratches, and one report of an arm sprain,” CPSC said.
The shower stools are white and measure 18 inches tall and have a 3-legged aluminum frame and a plastic curved seat. The “Room Essentials” logo and item number 064-20-1091 are printed on the front of the product’s hangtag.
Consumers who purchased a recalled shower stool should stop using it and return it to any Target store for a refund.
