What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on June 30, 2020, and affects Taiga A/T tires, size LT285/75R16.
The sidewall of affected tires may separate due to a potential manufacturing defect, making the tires fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139, “New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles.”
Sidewall separation can lead to tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash, NHTSA said.
If you purchased tires that are affected by this recall, you should stop using them immediately and contact Vee Tyres for inforomation about how to obtain a free replacement.
Vee’s numbers for this recall are 6MSLD8 2117 and 2217.
