What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA recall began on September 17, 2020, and affects Grand Design Solitude recreational travel trailers from model years 2017-2020.
The liquid propane supply line that runs through the exterior lower refrigerator compartment on affected RVs may contact the burner tube of the refrigerator, possibly damaging the line and causing a propane gas leak, NHTSA said. A propane leak increases the risk of a fire.
If you purchased an RV that is affected by this recall, you should contact your Grand Design dealer to schedule a free repair.
Grand Design’s number for this recall is 910021.
