“Out of an abundance of caution, these items have been removed from store shelves and the company has initiated its customer recall notification system that alerts customers who may have purchased recalled products through register receipt tape messages and phone calls,” FDA said in the recall letter.
If you purchased any dips that are affected by this recall, you should either discard them or return them to the point of purchase for a refund.
If you are experiencing symptoms of a salmonella infection — nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, fever, chills, or headache — you should call your physician or dial 9-1-1 immediately.
