Due to the potential for a sidewall separation defect, the recalled tires fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139, “New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles,” NHTSA said. Sidewall separation can lead to tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
If you purchased any Sentury tires that are affected by this recall, you should stop using them immediately and return them to the point of purchase for a free replacement.
