What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Nov. 4, 2020, and affects home timers manufactured in China and imported by Coulter Ventures LLC, dba Rogue Fitness, of Columbus, Ohio.
“The firm has received seven reports of the battery overheating and two of the reports resulted in the battery burning and melting the battery compartment,” CPSC said.
The recalled timers are in a black plastic case with “ROGUE” printed in white on the lower left hand corner. The timers measure about 13 inches long by 4 inches high by 1 ⅝ inches deep.
The recalled home timers were sold online from June 2019 through June 2020 for about $150.
Consumers who purchased a recalled home timer should stop using it immediately and contact Coulter Ventures for a full refund.
