What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began in Dec. 2020, and affects Otani OH-306 425/65R-22.5 commercial truck tires with DOT code 0320, which were manufactured by Foreign Tire Sales, Inc.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the tread may crack,” NHTSA said. “Cracks in the tread can lead to tread separation and a sudden loss of air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.”
If you purchased any truck tires that are affected by this recall, you should stop using them immediately and contact your Otani dealer for a full reimbursement.
Owners may contact Foreign Tire customer service at 1-908-687-0559.
