What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Jan. 27, 2021, and affects:
- 2020 Nissan Titan
- 2020 Nissan Titan XD
These pickups were sold with an engine wiring harness that could contain an exposed wire, increasing the risk of an electrical short or arcing. An electrical short can impact performance of the engine, transmission, or fuel pump, potentially causing an engine stall or crash. An electrical short or arcing also increases the risk of a fire, NHTSA said.
If you purchased a Titan pickup that is affected by this recall, you should stop driving it immediately and contact your local Nissan dealer to schedule a free inspection and, if necessary, repair of the engine wiring harness.
