On August 6, 2026, Shenzhen Okabesini Technology Co., Ltd. dba Okabesini-us of China announced a voluntary recall of Little Rawr Silicone Pull String Teething Toys in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. The recalled toys were manufactured and imported by Okabesini-us of China.
What Product Is Affected?
The recall covers the Little Rawr Silicone Pull String Teething Toy — a blue disc shape measuring 5.7 inches wide by 5.7 inches tall by 7.8 inches long, with a blue ball in the center and five multi-colored silicone tentacle-style pull strings running through the ball, plus eight soft push buttons on the disc. The toy was sold in a white box with the “little rawr” logo on the front.
The model number C-MBE-024 and identification number X004Q55E07 are printed on the back of the box and below the barcode label respectively — there is no identifying information printed on the toy itself. The recalled toys were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from September 2025 through April 2026 for between $11 and $15.
What Is the Hazard?
The Little Rawr teething toy violates the mandatory federal toy safety standard because its silicone strings are smaller in diameter and longer than the standard permits. Because the toy is specifically designed to be placed in a young infant’s mouth during teething, strings of this length and diameter can reach the back of the child’s throat and become lodged, creating a serious risk of respiratory distress and a potentially deadly choking hazard.
Incidents and Injuries
Okabesini-us has received one report of the toy’s strings reaching the back of a child’s throat, resulting in respiratory distress or choking.
What Should Parents Do?
Parents and caregivers should stop using the Little Rawr teething toy immediately and keep it away from children. To receive a full refund, consumers must destroy the toy by cutting all silicone strings and writing “RECALLED” in permanent marker on the main body, then send a photo of the destroyed toy along with the order number (if available) to lilrawrrecall@163.com.
