What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began in October 2020, and affects 2018-2021 Lance trailers with model numbers 1995, 2185, 2285, 1475, 1575, 1685, 1985, 2295, 2375, 2445, and 2465.
The recalled Lance Trailers were sold with a Dometic propane gas stove, model R1731 or R2131 manufactured Nov. 2018 or later or model S31 manufactured Nov. 2018 or later.
In some of the above stove serial number ranges, a gas leak may occur in the cooking stove. “A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire,” NHTSA said.
If you purchased a trailer that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact Lance Camper to schedule a free repair.
