Lakkzoom immersion water heaters can ignite within minutes when they are partially or completely out of water — a condition that is easily and commonly reached during normal household use. Because these heaters are designed to be submerged in a bucket or container to heat water, any moment when the heating element is exposed to air rather than water can trigger a rapid and catastrophic fire.
