What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Feb. 17, 2021, and affects multiple styles and colors of J Hunt Home and J Hunt and Co. Accent Tables with convenience charging receptacles and USB ports.
The charging receptacles and/or USB ports installed in the recalled accent tables may have an electrical defect which could cause reverse polarity, posing a shock hazard to the user, according to the CPSC.
The recalled accent tables are made of MDF, solid wood, veneers, and other materials. Some of the units have mirrored accents, 1 drawer or 2 drawer units. All of the affected units contain convenience receptacles for AC/DC electricity and USB charging pins.
Affected tables were sold online and at HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and other home furnishings stores nationwide from May 2019 through December 2020 for between $60 and $130.
Consumers who purchased a recalled accent table should stop using the charging receptacles and ports and contact Jimco Lamp for a refund or free replacement table.
