What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on August 19, 2020, and affects:
- 2019 Indian Scout
- 2019 Indian Scout Sixty
- 2019 Indian Scout Bobber
“After the manufacturing process, air may remain trapped within the brake system, possibly reducing brake performance,” NHTSA said. “Reduced brake performance can increase the risk of a crash.”
If you purchased a motorcycle that is affected by this recall, you should contact your Indian dealer to schedule a free repair.
Indian’s number for this recall is 1-18-07. This recall is an
expansion of NHTSA Recall number 19V-156.
