What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Feb. 25, 2021, and affects:
- 2020-2021 Honda Insight
- 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid
- 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid
These vehicles were manufactured with DC-DC converters that may shut down, preventing the 12-volt battery from recharging and potentially causing a loss of drive power.
If you purchased a vehicle that is affected by this recall, you should contact your local Honda dealer for a free power converter unit (PCU) software update.
Honda’s number for this recall is K9E.
