What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Feb. 25, 2021, and affects approximately 3,100 StyleWell Wood Windsor Dining Chair sets.
“Home Depot has received 17 reports of the chair’s back detaching from the chair base,” CPSC said. “No injuries have been reported.”
Affected chair sets were sold in black, natural wood, red and white and have 8 vertical backrest spindles. Only chairs without screw holes and wood screws on the rear underside of the chair seat base are included in the recall.
The recalled chairs were sold from September 2019 through January 2021 for about $150.
Consumers who purchased a recalled chair set should stop using them and inspect the chairs for missing screw holes and wood screws on the underside of the chair seat base.
