What’s the problem?
According to the NHTSA Recall Notice, this action affects Goodyear Fortera HL tires, size P255/65R18.
The recalled tires were sold with a manufacturing defect which could lead to belt or tread separation, the agency said. Tread separation could cause loss of vehicle
control, increasing the risk of a crash.
If you purchased any Fortesa Tires that are affected by this recall, you should stop using them immediately and take them to your Goodyear dealer for a free replacement. This recall started on February 28, 2020.
