Charlotte, North Carolina-based MG Foods initiated this recall after routine testing identified the presence of Listeria monocytogenes on surface areas where the recalled sandwiches were produced.
The sandwiches are packaged in clear plastic wedges & paper bags, and were distributed from March 3-5, 2021, to vendors at the Charlotte Douglas Airport and via vending machines and micro markets in business locations in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and West Virginia.
Consumers who purchased a recalled Fresh to You sandwich should discard it immediately.
