What’s the Problem?

This NHTSA Recall began on Jan. 25, 2021, and affects Ducati Scrambler 1100 motorcycles from model years 2018-2021.

“The exhaust valve cable could contact the main positive battery wire and potentially short-circuit,” NHTSA said. “An electrical short-circuit increases the risk of fire.”

If you purchased a motorcycle that is affected by this recall, you should stop riding it immediately and contact your local Ducati dealer to schedule a free repair.

Ducati’s number for this recall is SRV-RCL-20-003.
