Latest Updates
On August 13, 2026, Lisse USA LLC of Brooklyn, New York announced a voluntary recall of Cooluli 10-Liter and 15-Liter mini fridges in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) [1]. The mini fridges were manufactured by Ningbo Iceberg Electronic Appliance Co., Ltd. of China and imported by Lisse USA LLC.
What Products Are Affected?
The recall covers Cooluli 10-Liter and 15-Liter mini fridges with an internal power supply and two power input ports (AC and DC) on the back — instead of a single DC port. The removable power cord on the recalled units does not have a “brick” power adapter. The recalled mini fridges were sold in the Infinity, Classic, Glow Beauty, and Vibe Series in a variety of colors including black, blue, green, white, and red, as well as multicolored patterns, photos, and logos.
Only units with the following batch number ranges are included in the recall: 1535 through 1545, and 1200000 through 1202080. The model number (labeled “ITEM #:”) and batch number are printed on a label on the inside of the mini fridge door. The recalled mini fridges were sold on Amazon.com and Cooluli.com from January 2019 through October 2024 for between $80 and $120.
What Is the Hazard?
The electrical switch inside the recalled mini fridges can short circuit, posing fire and burn hazards. Because mini fridges are commonly left plugged in and unattended for extended periods — often in bedrooms, dorm rooms, or offices — a fire that starts inside the unit can spread significantly before it is discovered.
Incidents and Injuries
Cooluli has received at least 19 reports of the recalled mini fridges smoking, sparking, burning, melting, overheating, or catching fire. Those incidents resulted in more than $80,000 in property damage and one consumer suffering a smoke inhalation injury.
What Should Consumers Do?
Consumers who own a recalled Cooluli mini fridge should stop using it immediately and unplug it. To confirm whether their specific unit is included, consumers should visit www.cooluli.com/pages/product-notices-recalls and enter the model and batch numbers from the label inside the fridge door.
Consumers with a recalled unit will be instructed to cut the power cord, submit photos showing the model and batch numbers, and will receive a free replacement DC power cord and a permanent sticker to cover the AC port. Consumers may also contact Cooluli at 718-834-5312, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, or by email at recall@cooluli.com.
Can I File a Lawsuit?
Consumers who suffered property damage, smoke inhalation, or other injuries from a recalled Cooluli mini fridge may have significant legal options against Lisse USA LLC and related retailers. Contact an attorney promptly to have your case evaluated.
