What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on Dec. 16, 2020, and affects all Cycling Sports Group Cannondale Canvas NEO bicycles.
“The front fender can detach and cause the front wheel to abruptly stop, posing a fall hazard,” CPSC said.
The recalled “e-bicycles” have an electric assist motor and were sold in a variety of different colors and sizes. The bikes are marked “Canvas” on the top tube.
Affected bikes were sold at authorized Cannondale dealers nationwide from June 2019 through October 2020 for between $3,200 and $4,200.
Consumers who purchased a recalled bicycle should stop using it immediately and contact their Cannondale dealer or Cycling Sports Group for a free repair.
