What’s the Problem?
This CPSC Recall began on October 21, 2020, and affects:
- Bed Bath & Beyond SALT Lounge Chairs sold in gray with SKU 69476172/UPC 444800007102
- Bed Bath & Beyond SALT Lounge Chairs sold in black with SKU 69476173/UPC 444800002947
“The firm has received 19 reports of chairs breaking, including four reports of minor injuries from falls,” CPSC said.
The recalled lounge chairs were imported by Liberty Procurement Co. Inc., of Union, New Jersey, and sold at Bed Bath & Beyond stores nationwide and online from April 2020 through August 2020 for about $40.
Consumers who purchased a recalled SALT lounge chair should stop using it immediately and return it to Bed Bath & Beyond for a refund or a merchandise credit.
