What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on April 5, 2021, and affects BARUM BRAVURIS 3 HM/215/55 R 16 97H tires.
The recalled Barum tires were cured for too long during the manufacturing process, NHTSA said. This could cause the affected tires to develop a break in the sidewall resulting in sudden air loss or a belt edge separation, leading to a tread/belt loss and increasing the risk of a crash.
If you purchased any tires that are affected by this recall, you should contact Continental Tire for information about how to obtain a free set of replacement tires.
Owners may contact Continental Tire customer service at 1-888-799-2168.
