The new recall includes the following varieties of nut butter:
- Peanut (all flavor varieties)
The recalled Oskiri nut butter was sold in plastic jars with the lot number either on the top or bottom of the jar near the expiration date. they were also sold in pouches, and in bulk packaging. Go to the FDA recall notice for a complete list of products being recalled.
Signs and symptoms of listeria infection (listeriosis) can take up to 70 days to appear. If you ate any of these products and have been ill with one or more of the following symptoms, call your doctor right away:
- Stiff neck
- Muscle aches
If you purchased any of the above products, you should not eat them, even if you plan to cook with them, and either discard them immediately or return them to the point of purchase for a refund.
