The recalled supplements were sold in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Washington, Missouri, Florida, Mississippi, California and Texas.
Signs and symptoms of salmonella food poisoning (salmonellosis) include:
- Abdominal cramps

Salmonellosis is particularly hazardous to children, the elderly, and people with compromised immune systems.
Consumers who purchased any of the affected stock should return the unused portion to the point of purchase for a full refund. To date, no salmonella illnesses or other injuries have been linked to the recall, FDA said.
