LGD-MAXWhat is LGD MAX?

LGD Max contains LGD-4033, a type of product classed as a SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator) which works in the body by increasing muscle protein synthesis in a fashion similar to anabolic steroids but critically only acts in the muscles of the body and does not display negative effects on other body tissues such as causing hair loss or acne.

LGD MAX Ingredients

According to the FDA Warning Letter, LGD MAX contains the following ingredients:
((2S)-3-(4-cyanophenoxy)-N-{4-cyano-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-2-hydroxy-2-methylpropamide (LGD MAX).

What are SARMs?

Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators, or SARMs, are a class of therapeutic compounds which have similar properties to anabolic agents, but with reduced androgenic properties, according to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). SARMs have been prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) since 2008 due to their “potential to be misused for performance enhancement in sport due to their anabolic properties as well as ability to stimulate androgen receptors in muscle and bone.”

FDA Warning on SARMs

On Oct. 23, 2017, FDA sent Panther Labs a Warning Letter stating that LGD MAX 2866 and another SARM-containing product known as “Ostarine MK-2866″ were in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) due to the SARMs risk of “life threatening reactions, including liver toxicity.”

SARMs Side Effects

  • Liver damage
  • Cardiovascular complications
  • Heart attack
  • Blood clots
  • Deep vein Thrombosis (DVT)
  • Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
  • Stroke
  • Death

Can I Participate in a Class Action?

Although we are a nationally recognized class action firm, the Pharmaceutical Litigation Group at our law firm has decided against the filing of a SARMs LGD MAX class action suit and is currently filing individual claims for individuals and/or their family members who had severe injuries or died after using the product.

We decided on this course of action because class action suits can be a detriment to many class members in this type of litigation, as they are often forced into a blanket “low ball settlement” and higher attorney fees. At Schmidt & Clark, LLP we understand that our clients are suffering emotionally and economically due to loss of wages and/or high medical bills and we plan to maximize each client’s recovery by filing individual LGD MAX lawsuits on their behalf.
