What is LGD-3303?

LGD-3303 is a relatively new SARM which has earned a reputation for its ability to assist with mass and strength gains. The drug works by binding to the androgen receptor with high selectivity, which causes it to convert anabolic effects in muscle and bone, equating to gains in muscle size and strength.

What are SARMs?

SARMs is an acronym for “Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators,” which are unapproved drugs marketed as steroid alternatives that purportedly get results without the risk of serious side effects. Use of steroidal SARMs goes all the way back to the 40’s, when they were used to treat cancer, osteoporosis, and other related bone and muscle-wasting diseases.

What’s the Problem?

Our lawyers are concerned that SARM manufacturers may be marketing and selling their supplements with illegal adulterated products which could be harmful to consumers’ health. Moreover, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has found that many SARM products are sold with incorrect and/or misleading labeling. This also could contribute to users suffering unnecessary adverse events.

SARMs Side Effects

  • Liver damage
  • Cardiovascular complications
  • Heart attack
  • Blood clots
  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
  • Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
  • Stroke
  • Death

SARMs Control Act of 2018

In April 2018, Senators Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D–R.I.) introduced legislation to congress that would criminalize the entire SARM class of compounds. The SARMs Control Act of 2018 would place the drugs in schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act, alongside testosterone and substances intended to cause muscle growth.

Can I File an LGD-3303 Class Action?

Although we are a nationally recognized class action firm, the Pharmaceutical Litigation Group at our law firm has decided against the filing of an LGD-3303 class action suit and is currently filing individual claims for individuals and/or their family members who had severe injuries or died after using the product.

We decided on this course of action because class action suits have shown to be a detriment to many class members in this type of litigation, as they are often forced into a blanket “low ball settlement” and higher attorney fees. At Schmidt & Clark, LLP we understand that our clients are suffering emotionally and economically due to loss of wages and/or high medical bills and we plan to maximize each client’s recovery by filing individual LGD-3303 lawsuits on their behalf.
