What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Dec. 10, 2020, and affects 2021 Forest River Coachmen Galleria motorhomes built on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis.
“The outer area of the brake hoses on the front and rear axles may have been damaged during production,” NHTSA said. “The hoses could begin to leak brake fluid, affecting the braking performance of the vehicle, including the potential loss of directional stability when braking, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.”
If you purchased a motorhome that is affected by this recall, you should stop using it immediately and contact your Forest River dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.
Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-1263.
