What’s the Problem?
This NHTSA Recall began on Nov. 6, 2020, and affects Forest River Cardinal fifth wheel trailers from model year 2021.
The fresh air intake sleeve for the furnace on the recalled fifth wheel trailers is too short and does not have proper connection of the furnace to the exterior, allowing furnace exhaust to enter the trailer.
If you purchased a fifth wheel that is affected by this recall, you should contact your Forest River dealer to schedule a free repair.
Forest River’s number for this recall is 15-1245.
